The Little Prince and the Desert Fox (Gamcheon Culture Village)

Story about the Little Prince and the Desert Fox

As you walk along the widest road in Gamcheon Culture Village, you will see a familiar sight: a figure seated on the railing. It is the Little Prince and the Desert Fox, the most famous artwork in Gamcheon Village.

The artwork was created by Artist Na In-ju in 2012, depicting the story of the prince and the fox. The Little Prince departed from his planet and met the Desert Fox on Earth. They embarked on a long journey, transcending space and eventually arriving at Gamcheon Culture Village. Seated on the railing, they enjoyed the view of the village, gazing at the rooftops and the coast of Busan. The story originates from "The Little Prince," a novel written by the French author Saint-Exup?ry, depicting the tales of a little prince living on an asteroid in space. The Little Prince and the Fox in Gamcheon Village are incredibly famous, even among foreigners, and there's always a line of people waiting to take a picture with them.

When taking pictures with the Little Prince and the Fox, please be mindful of a few things. Sitting on the rail next to the statue exposes only the roof of a house below, so extra caution is necessary to prevent accidents. Also, please pay attention to passing cars and motorbikes while queuing up for pictures.
