Bulguksa Temple - Yeonhwagyo and Chilbogyo Bridges in Bulguksa

Bulguksa Temple - Yeonhwagyo and Chilbogyo Bridges in Bulguksa

Yeonhwagyo and Chilbogyo Bridges

These are Yeonhwagyo and Chilbogyo Bridges that lead to Geukrakjeon Hall where the Amitabha Buddha is enshrined. Nowadays, the gate leading to Geukrakjeon is closed but people used to get to the hall through here in the old days.

The one below is Yeonhwagyo and the one on top is Chilbogyo, and it is easy to distinguish the two by the lotus flowers carved on Yeonhwagyo.

Although they are smaller in size than the Cheongungyo and Baegungyo right next to them, they still possess simple and exquisite beauty.

Now, look around Bulguksa in any way you like and take a trip to the land of Buddha.
