Gongsanjeong Pavilion


Gongsanjeong is a pavilion located on the northwest hillside of Gongsanseong Fortress. Here, visitors can see all of Gongju City along with the quietly flowing Geumgang River and Geumganggyo Bridge. In particular, the pavilion is known for the unparalleled beauty of its sunset and night time views.

The pavilion previously had many other names such as Yushindae and Jeonmangdae, but in 2009, it was officially named Gongsanjeong through a naming contest open to citizens.
