Busan Air Cruise

Busan Air Cruise

The thrill of crossing 1.62 km over the ocean

Teacher: The Busan Air Cruise you will be boarding opened in June 2017 by restoring the old cable cars of Songdo that were discontinued in 1988.

Student: It was restored after almost 30 years.
It’s really high and quite thrilling.

Teacher: It goes up to 86 m high.
It runs 1.62 km from Songnim Park on the east side of Songdo Beach to Amnam Park on the west side, so you can feel the thrill as you go across the ocean.
You can take in the beautiful scenery of Songdo Beach, Busan Yeongdo and Namhang Bridge, Songdo Coast Walk, and the waves crashing against unique rocks and cliffs.

Student: The floor of the cable car over there looks clear It looks a little scary.

Teacher: It’s the crystal cabin with a transparent floor.
It is a little more expensive than a regular cabin with a closed floor, but you can experience the fantastic feeling of standing on the mysterious boundary between the sea and the sky. All cabins of Busan Air Cruise are made of glass, so you can enjoy a panoramic view of the open blue sea.

Student: I think it will relieve stress and make me feel like I’m flying over the sea. I’m excited to see how magnificent the view from the cable car will be.

Teacher: You can have a superb view of the sky and the sea that change every hour. It is also a good place to take in the unique night view of Songdo while watching the tranquil sunset and the night sea colored with glamorous lights. Let's check out what Songdo Beach looks like from the sky in the cable car….
