Baramssoeneun-gil

Baramssoeneun-gil is a forest path that extends about 3.4 km from the Hanbyeokgul Tunnel below the Hanbyeokdang Pavilion to Wonsaek Myeonghwa Village in Saekjang-dong. It is recommended for those who want to walk silently in nature. This path became well known after it was walked by the two main characters of a drama series called Twenty-Five, Twenty-One.

Baramssoeneun-gil was originally a railroad for the Jeolla Line, but the rail track was removed to turn the path into a walkway and a bicycle road. The Jeonjucheon Stream flows gently on the right side, and the Seungamsan Mountain stands firmly on the left side. While walking along this path, you can find many tourist attractions like the Hanbyeokgul Tunnel, Jeonju Eco Museum, Seungamsa Temple, Entrance to Chimyeongjasan Sanctuary, Jeonju World Peace Hall, and Gaksibawi Rock.

The green forest path appears on both sides after you pass the Entrance to the Chimyeongjasan Sanctuary. Full of cherry trees, ginkgo trees, maple trees, and zelkova trees, this beautiful path boasts beautiful flowers in the spring, cool shades in the summer, and gorgeous fall foliage in the fall.

Baramssoeneun-gil has the halfway point after the Chamsarang Mental Recuperation Center. You can come back from the halfway point by following the streamside of the Jeonjucheon Stream. You can appreciate the ripples shining under the sunlight, watch fish swimming, and touch silver grasses along the way. Baramssoeneun-gil is a refreshing place accompanied by the forest breeze and stream breeze.
