Beopgo, the Dharma Drum, of Yakchunsa
[Curator]
The dharma drum is about 2.4 meters in diameter, and its height is about the same as the Bell Pavilion. The temple is located in a naturally beautiful place, with both Mount Halla and the ocean clearly visible. Especially on a night with a full moon, you will be able to see the dream-like view of Yakchunsa, with the mountain and the ocean resting together in harmony under the moonlight. Because of such lovely scenery, it has been known to give inspiration to many literature lovers and composers.

When can I hear the sound of the dharma bell? Can we hear them during the day, when there are many visitors?
[Curator]
The dharma bell is struck three times a day for the daily ceremonies: once early in the morning, once at sasi-before noon, and once in the evening. On special occasions, the dharma drum is also played. If you participate in one of the templestay programs, you can hear the bell.
