South Port Bridge, connecting the South Port and Yeongdo with beautiful lights
Busan has many bridges that let you walk on the sea road. South Port Bridge is particularly famous for its landscape lighting in Yeongdo-gu, where four bridges are connected. Although it does not have remarkable sculptures or statues, the installed lighting gracefully harmonizes with the structural beauty of the bridge. South Port Bridge is a maritime bridge that connects Amnam-dong, Seo-gu, Busan and Yeongseon-dong, Yeongdo-gu. Its name comes from it linking the South Port to Yeongdo.
South Port Bridge has 3m wide sidewalks, allowing pedestrians to stroll and enjoy the scenery of the South Port area freely. Visitors can also enjoy views of Yongdusan Park, Jagalchi Market, Huinnyeoul Village, Jeolyeong Coastal Walk, and Songdo Beach.
South Port Bridge has unexpected charms. Its day and night are 180 degrees different. It provides a reliable walking trail during the day and presents a beautiful night view of the South Port adorned by a state-of-the-art LED lighting system. The visual feast of ships sleeping at the anchorage amidst the dazzling lights from sunset to midnight is also a sight to behold.
The 360m-long main route, where ships pass, decorates the night view with a dynamic colorful lighting spectacle every hour on Saturdays and public holidays. Enjoy the splendid display of lights on South Port Bridge.
