Hansando Island, Tongyeong

Hansando lsland, located in Hansan-myeon, Tongyeong-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, is the main island of Hansan-myeon and the largest among the 29 islands comprising the Hansan-myeon. Hansando Island is famous as a travel destination that has a wide variety of attractions connected by Yeondogyo Bridge, including Chubongdo Island and historical sites such as Jeseungdang Hall, along with fresh sashimi, fishing, swimming, and various sea experiences. It is also known for being the site of the historical Chubong Prisoner-of-War Camp, providing a combination of leisure and historical exploration.

As the beginning of Hallyeo Haesang National Marine Park and the site of the renowned Hansan Battle, Hansando Island attracts tourists throughout the year.
