Dongilchi
The Dongilchi is a Chiseong situated between the Dongil Poru and the Bongdon. The Chiseong is a defensive structure built in specific intervals, and Hwaseong has ten.
Why were there so many Chiseongs? Joseon had undergone the Imjin invasion attacked by Japan in 1592. Then the government realized that Joseon fortresses had weak defenses. This was why various defensive structures were built in Hwaseong.
