Today’s journey brings us to Songdo Central Park in Incheon—where city lights reflect softly on the water.

Located between high-rise buildings, Songdo Central Park is Korea’s first seawater park—an urban green space inspired by the country's natural geography. Modeled after New York’s Central Park, it offers water taxis, canoeing, and a variety of cultural and artistic experiences throughout the park.

The park features five themed gardens, each with its own unique charm. At the western end is the Sunset Garden, home to the West Boat House, a waterfront stage, a children’s garden, and striking cube sculptures. In the Sentimental Garden, you can take in the scenery alongside a unique artwork called “Faces of the World,” featuring masks representing 120 countries.

Chojigwon features playful sculptures like the Peeing Boy and a firefly house, blending whimsy with public art. The Strolling Garden is a traditional-themed space where you may spot deer. On its eastern side stands Songhwajeong Pavilion, offering a moonlit view like a scene from a painting. The Terrace Garden features the UN Plaza, the East Boat House, and a traditional game yard—hosting a variety of events throughout the year.

As the sun slowly sets, the surrounding skyscrapers begin to light up, and their reflections shimmer on the water, bringing the city’s night to life. From the East Boat House, you can board a moon boat that gently drifts across the lake—a unique and romantic way to enjoy a night on the water.

Right next to Central Park stands Tri-Bowl—a striking structure with sweeping curves that looks as if a spaceship has landed in the city. Once the lights come on after sunset, it becomes especially beautiful—making it a popular spot for photographers hoping to capture the city’s night view.
