Daedong Sky Park is a small, charming park located in Daedong, Daejeon. It was created in 2009 as part of the “Rainbow Project.” Selected as one of the Eight Scenic Views of Dong-gu, the park's symbol is a white windmill with bright red blades. The sight of the windmill turning slowly on the hilltop blends with the park’s peaceful feel, creating a special charm. Although it’s small, the park has a pavilion, benches, and a wooden swing. It’s the perfect place to get away from the city's noise and bustle for a moment of quiet rest.

The greatest charm of Daedong Sky Park is its sunsets and night views. The nightscape here isn't dazzling, but it has a gentle, emotional feel. It's like the warm comfort you get at the end of a busy day. Standing in front of the windmill, you can take in a sweeping panorama of Daejeon. From here, you'll see the ridges of Mount Gyejok in the northeast all the way to Mount Bomun in the southwest, surrounding the city in beautiful layers.
