A Public Notice Put up by Uiyeoldan
Some letters are written on the mirror on your right side. They were part of a public notice put up by the Uiyeoldan, an organization formed in Jilin Province, Manchuria in November 1919. The Uiyeoldan carried out such activities as sabotaging the Japanese institutions which played a leading role in the invasion of foreign countries, and assassinating Japanese leaders. The public notice and the Declaration of the Korean Revolution stress that violent revolution is the only way to gain freedom and independence.
