Development of the Gwangju Student Independence Movement

Here, you can see how the Gwangju Student Independence Movement was developed through miniature models and films. On the right, members of Seongjinhoe, a clandestine anti-Japanese student organization in Gwangju, are making a decision to boycott classes at school. In the middle, students are staging demonstration in front of Gwangju Prison, asking for the release of their friends unlawfully imprisoned during the public rallies held after November 3, 1929. Finally, on the left, students are engaged in demonstration after boycotting classes amidst the independence movement spread nationwide.
